Now that we have time to breathe, we're taking stock and looking at opportunities for what to do next. Most importantly, now that we have accepted more than 150 people into membership, we'd like to make sure that the next set of projects are planned and organised with the involvement of members.
We're also thinking about how the structure and experience that we have built up can best support community energy in and around Bristol. For some projects, it may be that rather than doing it ourselves, we have something to offer to more locally based groups, and we can work together to develop something.
We've already had one great meeting with members interested in the Renewable Heat Premium Payment opportunity. Soon we'll be involving more people in our Vision Day on the 1st September, and then going forward to the first AGM, where we will be electing a new set of directors (and perhaps re-electing some of the current ones). So if you're interested in getting involved as a volunteer, as a potential future director, or just finding out more, have a look at events coming up, or get in touch.
